Backup and restore moves bookmarks, settings, trusted certificates, site notifications and saved sign-ins to another device as one JSON file. The accent colour can now be tuned by hue, saturation and brightness, dark mode is true black with white text, and search gains Brave, Ecosia, Kagi and Mojeek while Bing is removed. The in-app default-browser button is gone.
A maintenance release. It fixes the crash when sharing a photo handed over by another app, tidies the viewer toolbar (delete, rename and file info moved into the ⋮ menu) so the file name stays readable, shows "unknown" instead of 0 B / 1970 when a provider hides size or date, and reveals the toolbar when an image fails to load. The full-file-access grant is applied on resume, the launch intent is not replayed after the process is recreated, and the pager guards a shrinking list.
Fixes a terminal window opening at login. Setting launch-at-login from a debug build registered the development executable instead of the app, and macOS opened it in Terminal. Registration is now limited to the installed app.
Fixes a bug that refused every model load whenever macOS reported memory pressure, even with plenty of free memory. Clearing caches during a load no longer waits: it reports that it was skipped. Compatibility with the latest mlx-vlm 0.7.11 is verified.
A stability release fixing model-load races and app misreadings. Unloading during a load no longer freezes the app, a cancelled load no longer fails unrelated concurrent requests, and saving settings no longer rolls back other changes. If a resident model fails to load and later succeeds, the display recovers, and transient failures are retried automatically.

Photos and videos sent by other apps now open directly in the Library viewer, fullscreen. If the file is visible in the Library, swiping moves through its order; otherwise the viewer shows a single page, and Back/swipe-down/close returns to the Library. External-only items hide delete/rename while share/edit/OCR remain.
Desktop Library media now opens in a true full-window gallery (the overlay fullscreen button actually toggles it and editing from the Library stays full-window). The gap above the toolbar is gone, and the release adds reset-to-centre buttons for tilt and colour sliders, crop aspect-ratio presets, and an Align corners perspective mode in Transform that crops and straightens the selected quad on OK. Preview and export now share one geometry pipeline, fixing clipped 90° rotations.
Improves API diagnosability. A 401 now carries the key fingerprint and issue time, and the unauthenticated /v1/auth/status reports which key the server currently expects. A stalled external volume now returns a retryable error with a wait hint, separate from the volume being disconnected. Settings and existing API behaviour are unchanged.
Fixes the resident model not loading at startup. The auto-load gate armed by unloading was never cleared when a model was set resident, and the failure appeared neither in the log nor on screen. Also fixes the model list being wiped when an external drive is not mounted yet.
Fixes the app becoming unresponsive while a resident model loads. The menu bar and API keep answering even when a large model is read from an external drive.
Fixes the Ornith format error cause and separates the missing-weights code with English messages. Preflight failures are now logged.

Library photo/video swiping now follows the visible order (date groups, compact density, album, category, explorer and recent). Library/Documents previews open fullscreen; tapping shows the translucent overlay with delete, edit, share, rename, info and the fullscreen button. On the desktop Explorer, media opens in its own titled tab and the overlay fullscreen button expands it inside the tab. Back/ESC leaves fullscreen first; system bars are restored on exit.
A stability release that keeps every v2.10.0 feature — the vision-model guard for mlx-lm, explicit engine selection, the oMLX setup card, and autoConnect — and fixes the issues found in a careful design review. An explicit engine choice on an already-loaded model now actually switches engines (evict + reload) instead of silently returning the old slot; while a model is generating it refuses with ENGINE_BUSY. The fallback status line now names the engine it is switching to. Catalog rows classified as unknown no longer refuse automatic loads with a generic 409 — their engine is derived from the directory when it is readable. The post-load catalog self-heal moves off the event loop so a concurrent scan can never stall status polling or heartbeats. Set-up and runtime-update subprocesses are now terminated even when their job plumbing itself raises, oMLX autoConnect keeps its promised 6 attempts x 20 s shape on raised errors, enabling oMLX at runtime now starts the cached-status loop it needs for memory accounting, and the English UI no longer leaks untranslated Japanese job messages. Defaults, API shape and settings schema unchanged.
Adds a guard that keeps vision models away from mlx-lm, plus one-off explicit engine selection (mlx-lm / mlx-vlm) in the model list — the explicit choice wins with no re-derivation and no fallback. Catalog classification moves to v3: architecture-token detection and mlx-vlm-native text models such as laguna now classify as mlx-vlm; auto loads re-derive the engine at load time, fall back mlx-lm⇄mlx-vlm once, and self-heal the catalog row after success. The oMLX card on the runtime settings page can now install oMLX via brew install jundot/omlx/omlx and run omlx start/stop as tracked jobs with progress and cancellation, and models.omlx.autoConnect connects when the coordinator starts. The oMLX integration that shipped in v2.9.0 (per-model routing, unified memory management, mlxbarctl omlx) is fully usable from this release. Also fixes mlx-vlm worker loads always failing with a TypeError, engine="auto" being rejected through the pool, and jobs.cancel leaving terminal states unwritten for queued jobs. Defaults, API shape, and settings schema unchanged.
Integrated oMLX as the 4th inference runtime. Models can be individually routed to oMLX to leverage PLE SSD Offload, Lightning MTP, TurboQuant KV, ANE Prefill, MoE Expert Offload and other oMLX-native accelerations. Unified memory management includes oMLX memory in the global budget. Added dedicated "oMLX" settings tab (connection, model routing, status). CLI (mlxbarctl omlx) and Management API (/api/v1/omlx/*) supported. Full Japanese/English UI. Defaults, API shape, and settings schema unchanged; oMLX off by default for backward compatibility. All 654 existing tests pass.
Fixes a race that permanently leaked one generation lane and one semaphore permit per occurrence. An acquire task abandoned by its parent now re-checks the abandon marker after every await and commits nothing, and orphan recovery requires the vanished state twice in a row (0.5s apart) so a live request that has just acquired its lane is never recovered away. Also moves getaddrinfo during status polling and hardware collection off the event loop, bounds the tokenizers (rayon) pool in the mlx-vlm worker too, lets a LAN setup re-import as LAN, and aligns the CLI with the GUI on the 30-minute job-wait cap, chunk-overlap cross-validation, and set-lan no longer silently re-enabling requireToken when disabling LAN. Defaults, API shape, and settings schema unchanged.
Models can now load past the resident cap as non-residents. They use no resident slot, answer normally, and are unloaded once their idle time runs out. The remaining time is shown in seconds and can be extended from the input under each row in the menu bar (or from mlxbarctl). Cancelling or losing a client now stops generation before the next token is requested, so CPU drops sooner. Nothing resident is ever silently evicted. All defaults unchanged.
Trims the app footprint, bounds history growth and stranded work, and hardens crash safety. Reply display, stream buffers, log fetch, and status reads are now capped, and job and runtime history keep only the latest entries. All defaults unchanged.
Fixes a real alias-shaped model resolving to the resident; it now loads as requested. Idle non-residents are shed without waiting under queued pressure. All defaults unchanged.

Strict resident-count limit. While the pool has room, a requested model is added as a new resident. Once full, another distinct model fails loudly instead of evicting. Unload first, then retry. All defaults unchanged.
Fixes requests silently answered by the resident model instead of the requested one, and residents recognized as a different model. Requests for a real distinct model now switch automatically, with loud errors while busy or pinned. Unknown names fail with 404, generic aliases still resolve to the resident. All defaults unchanged.

Fixes an unpinned model sometimes displacing a pinned model and becoming pinned. Restarts bring back only pinned profiles as pinned, runtime switches restore pinned first, and unpinning returns the model to temporary status at once. Adds --no-pin to mlxbarctl model load. Hardens the latest mlx-vlm / mlx-lm introduction checks with real generations verified on 0.7.8 / 0.32.0. All defaults unchanged.
Fixes rows sometimes staying on Generating after a response and a second concurrent same-model generation never running. Same-model requests prefer idle replicas and grow one automatically when memory allows. Idle rows for unpinned models now show the remaining time until unload, and the idle time plus per-model expiry are visible via mlxbarctl. All defaults unchanged.

A patch release fixing the Settings layout. Descriptions and notes now wrap inside the window, and long pages scroll vertically. No new features or default changes.
Added experimental KV cache quantization. The live mlx-lm KV cache can be quantized to 8bit (near-lossless) or 4bit (least memory, quality loss possible) to cut memory on long conversations. The default stays bf16 (off), so behavior is unchanged unless you opt in. It is mutually exclusive with Paged KV, which pauses while quantization is active. Unsupported models and failures fall back to normal generation automatically. Change it from the Settings screen (Japanese and English) or mlxbarctl.
JPEG transfers now preserve capture dates for photo apps. The app prioritizes EXIF dates, completes missing time zones, and uses camera date metadata when EXIF dates are absent.
An uncensored (abliterated) Qwen3.8-27B quantized to mixed 4/8-bit MLX OptiQ for Apple Silicon, with per-layer sensitivity re-measured from the Orca BF16 weights. Vision and the MTP head are preserved; about 19 GB with a Capability Score of 88.86 across six benchmarks.
Camera-screen credential scanning now compares Japanese and Latin recognition and captures again when needed. Uncertain characters require checking against the camera before connecting.

Sticky notes now anchor to document coordinates and follow scroll, zoom, and late-mounted previews. The bottom lane opens and closes in one path, dots drag to move, and fit/fill viewing plus audit fixes are included.
Sticky-note creation reaches the material again, and figures gain stop, load timeout and aspect fallback.
Large sources open in windows, interactive figures are shared between Studio and Live, and sticky notes pin to the material.
Sent text appears instantly in its conversation, invalid tool calls stop after a repeat with guidance, and whole-document translation is verified into a single PDF artifact.
MLXBar checks now generate with the selected model. Documents gain full-width viewing and zoom, while closing Live Illustrator returns its space to reading. Studio and Live source search and citations are stronger, and grounded document creation was verified with a local model.

Web-link sources gain a reader/live switch. The extracted reader view stays the default so citations keep matching, and the original page renders with scripts only after you switch. Changing documents returns to the reader view. Existing projects and settings remain compatible.

Live Illustrator answers are now selectable and copyable, with past and current-session turns shown separately. The chat uses the same message format as Studio, and the panel resizes freely between 24 and 44 rem while document views follow automatically. Citations appear only when needed, not in everyday replies. Existing projects and settings remain compatible.
A patch release fixing four findings from the v2.4.0 audit. The log level setting is now wired to both the API and management servers with value validation. Added notes about when memory guard, connection limit, and log level changes take effect, plus a request-size display note. No new features or default changes.
Every OMLX-class setting shipped so far can now be managed from both the Settings screen and mlxbarctl: pool replica limits, generation headroom, per-model memory, cache tuning, input ceilings, timeouts, memory guard ratios, API request limits, log level, the LM Studio folder, RAG tuning, and the fallback switch. No new engine features; all defaults stay as they were. Future-phase gates are display-only.

Added an experimental Paged KV cache that can reuse computed prompt prefixes across conversation branches and worker restarts. It restores verified 256-token blocks from SSD only for plain mlx-lm KVCache models. The feature is off by default; unsupported models, insufficient memory, corrupt data, or restore failures automatically fall back to the existing cache or normal generation. Enable it, inspect its status, and clear its dedicated cache from Settings or mlxbarctl.
A multimedia platform for music, video, image, and animation.
The standard landscape settings rail is narrower and no longer scrolls, allowing the viewfinder to fill all remaining space. Others now fits four actions on one row, while Pro mode remains unchanged.
Standard Photo, Video and Slow motion now extend the portrait viewfinder to the compact controls, with lens choices overlaid at its lower edge to remove dead space. Pro keeps its exact 4:3 / 16:9 frame and the single-preview safety used across mode and orientation changes.
Standard preview placement and portrait/landscape spacing are corrected, with primary actions consolidated into Photography Pro-inspired square tiles. Background recording now survives screen-off and Recents removal, finalizes safely, then restores the live preview.
The preview now stays live through repeated Pro/standard and portrait/landscape transitions while preserving its 4:3 or 16:9 shape. This release also adds a drag-customizable mode bar and color-coded capture profiles with ordering and overwrite support.
Pro mode now follows the operating model of Photography Pro while adapting it for portrait use. It adds a live-value control deck, capability-aware shooting presets and user-created capture profiles, while fixing clipped landscape controls, preview reuse after rotation, capture races after binding and edge-frame artifacts on Sony devices.
Rebuilt the pro screen around icon-driven controls with a range-accurate shrunken preview. Tap-to-focus now unlocks inside the box and refocuses outside it, and background recording pauses and resumes from the notification. Hidden lenses (e.g. Galaxy telephoto) are recognised, rapid lens-switch failures are fixed, all verified on-device.
Hardened the v2.2.0 features across devices: previews survive rejected high-fps binds, panorama handles JPEG captures, timer capture without a rotation sensor, and lighter stitching on low-RAM devices, with no flash during sweeps.
Added slow-motion and panorama capture. Slow-mo records high-frame-rate footage on supported lenses and saves it as a silent slow video; panorama auto-captures up to 8 frames and stitches them. An exposure-compensation slider appears while exposure stays fully auto, and RAW-capable lenses can save JPEG / JPEG+RAW / RAW (DNG). Phone screens get a bottom shutter-bar layout, and tablet panels widen while the manual panel is open.
The current zoom ratio now shows at the top of the panel and resets to 1x on tap. Both the UI and the camera always start at 1x. Background recording keeps the active lens and orientation, and disables the shutter and lens switcher while running to prevent mistakes. Double-start and no-audio startup failures are also fixed.
Added the missing routine button and a complete create-and-save flow, with saved routines shown in Today. Settings can now switch the app between the system language, Japanese, and English.
The first stable release aligns Studio document format, extension, and MIME, and saves PDF/Word artifacts atomically to resist crashes. Invalid AI streams and empty replies now surface as clear errors. Authored-site preview isolation, large-document memory limits, and the PDF toolbar beside Live Illustrator are also hardened, while existing projects remain compatible.
Added an experimental Adaptive Hybrid Context Memory. It routes older turns of a long conversation automatically: verbatim material such as code, numbers and tool output stays EXACT, natural-language discussion becomes a short summary note (LATENT, cached so re-sending the same history does not re-summarize), and low-relevance turns are dropped from inference (COLD, recoverable from the original message) — cutting time-to-first-token and memory use. Turn on soft-token compression and the mlx-lm worker additionally pre-reads the older span through the model’s own embeddings (a trial implementation for measurement on Apple Silicon; models that do not support it fall back automatically). It is off by default and behaves exactly as before unless enabled. It cannot be used together with Automatic Context Compression, and any failure falls back to normal inference rather than an API error. Tune it from the Settings screen (Japanese and English) or mlxbarctl.

PDF, Word, and PowerPoint previews now include invert and sharpness/contrast controls. Live Illustrator follow-ups search the current page, source, or project with conversation context. Studio sends with Enter, inserts a newline with Shift+Enter, and safely edits a conversation from any earlier user message. MLXBar now connects as easily as LM Studio through a dedicated preset, with model discovery, reasoning, tools, and streaming support. Existing projects and settings remain compatible.
Studio-made Markdown, PDF, and other artifacts now import into View materials and open directly. PowerPoint blank rendering and post-import preview refresh are fixed. Live Illustrator keeps one whole-document explanation while pages change, and copies its explanation and chat to Studio only when you explicitly choose Hand off to Studio. AI context, ZIP imports, artifact paths, and project-scoped search-index boundaries are also hardened.
Live Illustrator drops the scope/detail tabs and always explains the whole document; change the detail level from the “rewrite at another level” buttons under the first automatic explanation (e.g. かんたん / くわしい when Settings is 標準). The document viewer turns PDF and slide pages with the arrow keys and on-page arrows, and Word / Markdown / web previews get up-down scroll buttons. Studio can collapse tool output the way Claude does. Studio’s AI can now build a multi-file website in addition to PDF and Word documents, and “View materials” can import a website folder and preview its index.html directly in a sandboxed frame. Screen structure, project format, and workflows are unchanged.
“View materials” is redesigned around a vertical tab rail, and an opened document fits the window width. Live Illustrator has a rebuilt panel and now explains the whole document in plain terms the moment you open it (a conversation kept separate from Studio). Fixes local models (LM Studio and others) not returning a reply — a base URL with no `/v1` is completed, and servers that omit the `[DONE]` marker or reject tools are handled. When the server lists its models you can pick one in Settings. Studio keeps past conversations closed until you open them, and a sent message no longer stays in the box. The empty toolbar inset in fullscreen is gone. Screen structure, project format, and workflows are unchanged.
Fixed a bug where the Settings switches did not toggle on a click in the packaged app (every switch, including “Enable Live Illustrator”; keyboard still works). Right-click a project in the sidebar for an Export (ZIP) / Delete menu. Press the Settings button again to return to the view you came from. Also fixed the “View materials” pane collapsing to the left with no document open, and a Live Illustrator conversation appearing to break when you turn the page. Screen structure, project format, and workflows are unchanged.
Fixed a bug where Settings toggle switches did not respond to a mouse click or tap (every switch, including “Enable Live Illustrator”; keyboard operation was unaffected). For MCP, a `npx` / `uvx` / `node` command now starts without an absolute path — it is found in the usual install locations — and there is a SearXNG (web search) configuration preset. Screen structure, project format, and workflows are unchanged.
When a reasoning model returns its thinking mixed into the answer, that thinking is now separated out — Live Illustrator, Studio, and organized text no longer show stray reasoning. A Live Illustrator question error no longer stays on screen after regenerating, and the dependency audit passes again. Screen structure, project format, and workflows are unchanged.
Added a local knowledge base (RAG). Import text into a collection and MLXBar splits it into chunks, embeds them through an external OpenAI-compatible embeddings endpoint (such as LM Studio), and stores the vectors. Add a rag field to a chat request and the most relevant passages are retrieved and prepended to the prompt automatically. It is off by default, and ordinary requests without rag behave exactly as before. Create collections, add documents and run a query test from the Settings screen (Japanese and English), mlxbarctl, or the management API.
Fixed a bug in the multi-model residency pool. With "maximum resident models" set to 1, setting a same-model parallel instance count (replicas) of 2 or more still had the extra replicas rejected even with memory to spare, so concurrent requests to one model could not run in parallel. "Maximum resident models" now counts distinct model types only; the replica count is governed by a separate setting. The status output, mlxbarctl and the Settings screen also now show when replicas are short or when a saved "concurrent generation limit" is waiting for the next restart.
Local and LAN AI workflows are now more reliable. Fast responses are no longer lost, tool support is detected more accurately, and Live Illustrator and document-conversion failures are clearer in Japanese and English. The existing screen structure, project format, and workflows are unchanged.
The interface is clearer and more precisely aligned. Standard controls now use a 40 px target, body text uses a 16 px baseline, boundaries and separators are stronger, and icon size, stroke, and centring are consistent across light and dark themes. Features and data formats are unchanged.
The complete application interface has been refreshed while preserving its navigation and document-centred workflow. The sidebar, buttons, fields, tabs, Settings, Viewer, and Studio now share consistent spacing and interaction patterns, with light, dark, monochrome, scaling, and keyboard support retained.
Expanded the OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible APIs: a legacy completion endpoint that passes a raw prompt straight through, JSON-shaped output via response_format, several candidates in one request with n, and Anthropic extended thinking. Also documented how to connect from the Codex CLI, and every GUI setting — context compression included — can now be changed from the mlxbarctl command line.
Added optional context compression (off by default, enable it in Settings) that keeps long coding-agent conversations (ZCode, Claude Code, OpenCode, and similar tools) fast instead of slowing down as they grow. Also redesigned the menu bar to list every resident model as an equal row, with a copy button for each model name, live tokens-per-second while generating, and an at-a-glance status (loading, generating, or idle) per model.
Adds the mediamaster:// scheme so other apps can open any feature directly, plus SMB / WebDAV network storage. The UI is rebuilt on Material 3 with WCAG AA contrast.
The control panel is rebuilt to fit the screen: phone-portrait keeps the stacked layout, a larger portrait screen shows a floating left panel (two-column icons, vertical tabs, top/center/bottom alignment), and landscape shows a right side-rail. The panel collapses from a bottom button into a small movable island with just the shutter, front/back switch and battery level. Dark mode shows a black loading screen while the page is prepared, including when reloading. Light mode and the page’s own background are unchanged.
The UI scale now also affects the text size of web pages. A whole-page zoom was measured to stop DSH from scrolling, so the scale multiplies the WebView text zoom, which reflows the page instead. Pages opened from a bookmark get a 44dp single-line bar: home and reload on the left, title and domain in the middle, bookmark switcher and menu on the right; the switcher lists bookmarks with icons so you can jump straight to another one. Because Android WebView has no Web Notifications API, a Notification polyfill forwards allowed sites’ notifications to Android, optionally with immediate background delivery. Notifications, camera, microphone and location are listed and editable per origin, and settings are split into seven tabs.
The missing DSH backgrounds and top UI were caused by the vh-rewriting shim in v1.3.0. Hosting the WebView inside a FrameLayout initialises the viewport correctly, so the shim is gone and page CSS is left untouched. The page now shrinks above the keyboard so input bars stay visible, and new bookmarks fetch their site favicon (normalised to 192px and stored on the device, with a monogram fallback and a refresh action).
Fixed the blank DSH-style SPAs caused by 100vh resolving to 0 in a Compose-hosted WebView, by measuring the breakage and rewriting viewport units to pixels. Also adds standard-API shims (Promise.withResolvers, AbortSignal.any) for older WebViews, browsing history (500 entries, delete/clear) and saved https form logins that fill only empty fields and never submit.

v2.4.0の監査で見つけた4件を修正するパッチリリースです。ログレベル設定をAPIサーバと管理サーバの両方へ配線し、許容値を検証するようにしました。メモリガードと同時接続数・ログレベルの反映タイミング注意文と、要求サイズ表示の注記を追加しています。新規機能の追加や既定値の変更はありません。

v2.2.0 の機能を多様な端末で動くよう固めました。高フレーム要求を拒む端末でもプレビューを維持し、パノラマはJPEG撮影・回転センサなし端末のタイマー撮影・低RAM端末の軽量合成に対応、撮影中の発光も止めました。
スローモーションとパノラマ撮影を追加しました。スローは高速撮影対応レンズで高フレーム録画し無音のスロー動画として保存、パノラマは最大8枚を自動撮影して合成します。露出が完全オートの間は露出補正スライダーが出て、RAW対応レンズではJPEG／JPEG+RAW／RAW（DNG）を選べます。スマホ表示は下部シャッターバー構成になり、タブレットはマニュアル展開時にパネルが広がります。
ズーム中の倍率をパネル上部に表示し、タップで1倍に戻せるようにしました。起動時はUIもカメラも必ず1倍から始まります。バックグラウンド録画は使用中のレンズと向きを引き継ぎ、録画中はシャッターとレンズ切替を無効化して誤操作を防ぎます。二重起動や音声なし端末での起動失敗も修正しました。

ライブ解説のパネルから範囲・詳しさの切り替えタブをなくし、常に資料全体を解説します。詳しさは、最初の自動解説の下に出る「別の詳しさで作り直す」ボタンから切り替えられます（設定が標準なら「かんたん」「くわしい」）。資料ビューアは矢印キーと画面端の矢印で PDF・スライドのページを送れ、Word や Markdown・Web リーダーには上下スクロールボタンが付きました。Studio ではツールの結果を Claude のように折りたためます。Studio の AI は PDF・文書に加えて Web サイト（複数ファイル）を作れるようになり、「資料を見る」では Web サイトのフォルダを取り込んで index.html をそのままプレビューできます（サンドボックス表示）。画面構成・プロジェクト形式・ワークフローは変わりません。
「資料を見る」を垂直タブへ再設計し、開いた資料はウィンドウ幅に合わせて表示されます。ライブ解説はパネルを作り替え、開いた瞬間に資料全体をやさしく解説します（Studio とは切り離した独立の会話）。LM Studio など一部のローカルモデルで応答が返らなかった問題を修正 — Base URL に `/v1` が無くても補完し、完了マーカー `[DONE]` を送らないサーバーや tool 非対応モデルにも対応。サーバーがモデル一覧を返す場合は設定でモデルを選べます。Studio は過去の会話を開くまで表示せず、送信メッセージが入力欄に残りません。フルスクリーン時のツールバー左の余白も解消。画面構成・プロジェクト形式・ワークフローは変わりません。

複数モデルを常駐させるプールの不具合を1件修正しました。「最大常駐モデル数」を1にしていると、同じモデルの並列インスタンス（レプリカ）を2以上に設定してもメモリに余裕があるのに2つ目以降が必ず拒否され、同一モデルへの同時リクエストを並行処理できませんでした。「最大常駐モデル数」は異なるモデルの種類数の上限として数えるよう修正し、レプリカ数は別の設定で決まるようにしました。あわせて、レプリカが不足しているときや、保存した「同時生成の上限」が次回起動待ちのときに、その旨をステータス・mlxbarctl・設定画面で確認できるようにしました。
ローカルおよびLAN上のAIとの連携を安定化しました。高速な応答の取りこぼしを防ぎ、ツール利用の対応判定を改善。Live Illustratorと文書変換の失敗表示も日本語・英語でわかりやすくしました。既存の画面構成、プロジェクト形式、ワークフローは変わりません。
UIの視認性と整列を改善しました。標準コントロールを40px、本文を16pxへ広げ、枠線と区切りを明瞭化。アイコンの大きさ・線幅・中央位置も揃え、ライトとダークの両テーマで読みやすさを高めました。機能やデータ形式は変わりません。
アプリ全体のUIを更新しました。ナビゲーション階層や資料中心のワークフローは維持しながら、サイドバー、ボタン、入力欄、タブ、設定、Viewer、Studioの余白と操作感を統一。ライト・ダーク・モノトーン、表示倍率、キーボード操作も引き続き利用できます。
OpenAI・Anthropic互換APIを拡充しました。生プロンプトをそのまま渡すレガシーの補完エンドポイント、JSON形式での出力指定（response_format）、1回のリクエストで複数の候補を生成するn、Anthropicの拡張思考（extended thinking）に対応しています。あわせてCodex CLIからの接続手順を追記し、コンテキスト自動圧縮の設定を含めGUIの全設定をコマンドライン（mlxbarctl）からも変更できるようにしました。
長いコーディングエージェント（ZCode・Claude Code・OpenCodeなど）との会話が長くなるほど遅くなる問題に対応する、コンテキスト自動圧縮を追加しました（既定はオフで、設定から有効化できます）。またメニューバーのモデル表示を、常駐しているモデルをすべて対等なリストで見せる形に刷新し、モデル名のコピー、生成中のトークン速度、ロード中・応答生成中・待機中などの状態を各モデルの行でひと目で確認できるようにしました。
他アプリから各機能を直接開ける mediamaster:// スキームと、SMB / WebDAV のネットワークストレージに対応。UI を Material 3 ベースへ全面刷新し、コントラストを WCAG AA で検証しました。
操作パネルを画面に合わせて作り直しました。スマホ縦は従来の縦積み、大きめの端末の縦は左に浮くパネル（アイコン2列・縦タブ・上/中央/下寄せ）、横向きは右のサイドバー。パネルは下部のボタンで開閉でき、閉じるとシャッター・前後切替・バッテリー残量だけの小さな島になり、ドラッグで動かせます。前後カメラの切替はシャッターの横に、最新の撮影サムネイルはパネル下部に置き、タップで標準ギャラリーへ。マニュアルパネルからシャッター音量スライダーを外し、マニュアル設定ボタンは写真・動画モードだけに表示。アイコンも新しくしました。
マニュアル操作と多レンズ対応の本格カメラ。
テキスト層のないスキャンPDFのページと、文字のある画像を OCR して検索対象に加えます（純Rustエンジン、モデルは初回のみ取得）。スキャンPDFには元の座標に合わせた不可視テキスト層付きの検索可能PDFも生成します。Studio には、見出しと本文の構成だけを渡すと Markdown・Word・PDF の体裁を整えて出力する build_document ツールを追加しました。現在は招待制配布です。
ローカルネットワーク上のAI（LM Studio・Ollama・LANの推論サーバー）への接続をシステムプロキシに邪魔されず直接行えるよう修正し、macOSのローカルネットワーク許可に対応、接続テストの失敗理由も具体的に表示します。UIは広い画面での偏りを解消して中央寄せ・可変幅にし、暗いテーマのコントラストを強化、全体をmacOSネイティブ風の見た目に整えました。あわせて本体ソースコードをMITで公開しました。
OpenAI互換APIの細かな不具合を修正しました。1回の応答にツール呼び出しが2つ以上あるストリームで識別情報が重複する問題、ツールを使わない非ストリーム応答で推論モデルの思考内容が返らず消えていた問題（本文には出さず専用フィールドで返すよう修正）、一部の入力でストリームが途中終了しうる問題です。
PDF・Word・PowerPoint・表計算などを実際のレイアウトで閲覧できるViewer、ローカル意味検索、画像Vision、Studioの進行表示、Streamable HTTP MCP、Silero音声検出を追加しました。
狭い縦画面や低い横画面でも欠けないUIへ修正し、LAN上のOpenAI・Anthropic互換API設定とローカルstdio MCP接続を強化しました。
資料本文をAIのシステム指示から分離し、小型モデル向けの確認・文書保存手順、短すぎるMarkdownの保存防止、ダークテーマの白い主要文字を追加しました。
常駐モデルを1つずつアンロードできるようにし、複数モデルの生成中はモデルごとのトークン速度をメニューバーに表示するようにしました。Anthropic・OpenAI互換APIの互換性も精査しています。
ツールを使わないリクエストで、推論対応モデルの思考（thinking）の途中経過が返答本文に混ざることがある不具合を修正しました。
GUIでできる操作を、すべて同梱のコマンドラインツール mlxbarctl からも行えるようにしました。プロンプトキャッシュの操作、複数モデル常駐の設定、各種トグルに専用コマンドを追加しています。
同じモデルを複数のプロセスで常駐させ、同一モデルへの生成を並列で処理できるようになりました。Claude Code から使える Anthropic 互換 API（/anthropic）も追加しています。
Forge / NeoForge サーバーの参加プレイヤーを正しく認識するようにしました。内蔵Web管理画面の「ユーザー」タブでも、アプリと同じように OP と BAN を操作できます。
Minecraftサーバーを一か所で管理。
メニューバーに常駐中のモデルをすべて表示し、エラー表示を選択した言語に統一しました。Zed・Cline・OpenCode などのOpenAI互換クライアントとの接続も改善しています。

枝分かれした会話のプロンプト再利用が、対象のモデルで実際に有効になりました。
